The State Health Plan and the Maine Legislature has called on state government and the public health community to come together to plan for a coordinated, better organized statewide system of public health. This is essential to achieve the goals to make Maine the healthiest state and to ensure all Maine people have access to quality and affordable health care.
The Public Health Work Group comprises members from many sectors across the state. Policymakers, Community Coalitions, Healthy Maine Partnerships, providers and advocates are represented on the Group.
